Mashenka was getting so excited about the trip,  she could not believe it was going to take at least two weeks before she could depart for her huge new experience.  
Mashenka was told that she needed to have a check up at the vets before we left, just to make sure she was was fit and healthy for the trip.   The news of the vet visit was greeted with great loud meows,   Mashenka's mum said if you don't go to the vet you cant go on a trip.  She replied IF I MUST'  and went out for a long snooze,  time to think about it all.

Meanwhile mum had been doing some research to find a travel agency that would do cat and human bookings,  she first rang her own travel agency who said, yes we can do that.   So it was decided that was the best one to go for.

Mashenka decided she better go and she her mum,  she was also hungry and thirsty and also needed the cuddles.   She was sad that she had behaved so badly,  running and hiding for hours on end.

Mum greated Mashenka with a big long cuddle,  Mashenka then jumped down for some food and water.   Mashenka went right back to her mum for more cuddles and made up for running off for so long.

Mum told Mashenka that a travel agency had been found, which really made her happy.   In her loud loud Burmese  voice she showed her excitement.   While Mashenka had been having her long long nap Mum had been working on a leaving date, made the vet appointment and looking for pet friendly hotels that were safe for Mashenka and Calico to stay at.   Of course both mums would be staying in the hotel.   Carol and Christine has talked about the places they would like to visit,  Waikiki and the other Hawaiian Island of Maui.   The first 6 weeks in Waikiki,  then two weeks in Maui and the last five weeks were back in Waikiki.   July 1 was enough time to do all the planning.  So the count down was on.

Mashenka had her daddys agreement to visit Calico and her mummy agreement to take her on the trip.   The trip to Hawaii was going to be for  3 months.   Mashenka was eager to get going but her mum said we need time to plan.  One thing in Mashenka favor was she  had her rabies shots and had kept her vaccinations up.

Mashenka and her mum were working on a time frame for the trip.   And working at a itinerary before finding a travel agency with dealt with humans and cats travel plans.   Mashenka was told that she could not travel in the plane with her mummy.  She would be in a compartment in the plane where the other animals were talk.   Now Mashenka was very upset at this news,  She considered her self a human in a cat's body.  Mashenka eventually got the idea it was no trip or go with the other animals. 

At last a plan was drawn up and the search was on for the best travel agency.  

Mashenka is a blue Burmese Cat and she has a mummy and daddy and Mashenka lives in Lara.   Mashenka was born to mum and dad cats at a breeders of Burmese cat.   Mashenka first lived in Sydney with another mum and dad.   They could not keep her, so they took her back to the breeders.  After she was sent to her new dad  David and new mummy Christine.  They lived in Richmond in Melbourne.  Then they moved to Lara in country Victoria.  Mashenka's first name was Daisy.  Her name changed to Mashenka the day she arrived in Richmond.

Calico was a stray and come to her mummy and has lived with every since then.  Calico was name that by Christine.   Calico mum is called Blue Hawaiian.   Calico's real name is Carley and Blue Hawaiians real name is Carol.  Christine changed both of there names.

Calico and Mashenka met through there mums on the phone.   After a few chat both cat got in to having cat chats in a mysterious way that humans cant really understand.   It may be to do with their supersonic hearing.

Mashenka and Calico want to meet up in person.  The problem is Calico lives in Hawaii and Mashenka lives in Australia.   Mashenka's daddy wont let her travel to Hawaii on her own.  And Calico does not like the idea of travelling.   Mashenka and Calico had argument saying that the Mashenka dad should let her travel and he was not a good daddy.  But Mashenka said that her daddy was the best ever.   So then Calico went away for a think and come back and said to Mashenka,  your mummy loves to Travel so get her to take you.   So Mashenka thought about this and said what a great idea.   So Mashenka and Calico are now planning what they want to do, of course with the help of Mashenka's mummy who has kindly agreed to a trip with Mashenka for her meeting up with Calico.   More on the meeting in Hawaii coming soon.
